All examination papers, assessment tasks, marking guides, solutions, diagrams, and associated materials supplied by EdWest Education are protected by copyright.
Unless otherwise stated, copyright in these materials is owned by EdWest Education.
These materials are provided to schools under a limited licence for educational use and remain the intellectual property of EdWest Education at all times.
2. Permitted Use
Schools purchasing or receiving examination materials from EdWest Education are granted permission to:

Reproduce and distribute the examination papers within their own school for the purpose of administering assessments to their enrolled students.

Print or digitally distribute the materials to teachers within the purchasing school for assessment administration and marking.

Store copies within the school’s secure internal systems for the purpose of examination preparation, administration, and moderation.
This permission applies only to the purchasing school and its currently enrolled students and staff.
3. Restrictions on Use
The following actions are not permitted without prior written permission from EdWest Education:

Sharing or distributing examination materials to other schools, tutoring organisations, or third parties.

Uploading examination papers, solutions, or marking guides to publicly accessible websites, social media platforms, or file-sharing services.

Using the materials for commercial purposes, including tutoring services, test preparation services, or resale.

Modifying or reproducing substantial portions of the materials for redistribution outside the purchasing school.

Including the materials in other publications or assessment products.
4. Digital Security
Schools must take reasonable steps to ensure examination materials are:

Stored securely prior to the examination.

Only accessible to authorised staff involved in the administration of the assessment.

Not distributed electronically beyond the intended staff and students.
Where digital copies are provided, schools should ensure they are stored in password-protected or restricted-access systems.
5. Student Use
Students may use the examination papers only for the purpose of completing the assessment or reviewing their work after marking.
Students must not:

Upload exam papers to websites, social media platforms, or online repositories.

Share the examination materials with individuals outside their school.
6. Fair Use and Copyright Law
Nothing in this policy limits rights provided under the Copyright Act 1968 (Australia), including fair dealing provisions for research, study, criticism, or review.
7. Breaches of Copyright
Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or publication of EdWest Education examination materials may constitute a breach of copyright law.
EdWest Education reserves the right to:

8. Permission Requests
